Buyer seeks independent audit services for its financial records for the 2024 calendar year. The engagement includes auditing the buyer's financial statements and a blended component unit. The successful respondent will prepare all audit documents, conduct the audit within 120 days after year-end, and present findings to the board. The contract may be renewed for six additional one-year periods.

• 7/31/2024 - Question submission deadline
• 8/7/2024 - Proposal Due Date
• 8/27/2024 - Interviews with shortlisted firms

• Independent and licensed to practice in Texas
• Professional personnel with adequate continuing education in preceding two years
• No conflict of interest with other work performed for EAA
• Submitted copy of most recent external quality control review report

• Audit EAA's financial records for 2024 calendar year
• Provide draft audit to Finance/Administrative Committee by 4th Tuesday of March
• Prepare all audit documents, footnotes, schedules, and required supplemental information
• Audit Edwards Aquifer Conservancy as a blended component unit
• Prepare single audit report and schedule of expenses of federal awards if required
• Review annual comprehensive financial report for GFOA submission
• Provide 'in-relation-to' report on supporting schedules
• Define timeline to meet 120-day post-year-end audit completion requirement
• Present audit findings to EAA Board in April
• Conduct interviews with shortlisted firms
