Village of Waunakee

The buyer seeks a qualified consultant to create a comprehensive Sustainability Plan for the Village of Waunakee. The plan will include sections on Community Health, Energy, Land Use & Development, Transportation, Waste, and Water. The consultant will engage diverse stakeholders, develop vision statements, metrics, and action plans for each section. The final deliverable will be a user-friendly document with implementation schedules, graphics, and measurable targets.

• 8/2/2024 - Proposal Due Date
• 10/23/2024 - Estimated Project Commencement
• 12/31/2025 - Estimated Project Completion

• Develop comprehensive Sustainability Plan with sections on Community Health, Energy, Land Use & Development, Transportation, Waste, Water
• Create vision statements, specific metrics, and performance targets for each plan section
• Develop action plans with specific projects, programs, and initiatives for achieving targets
• Engage diverse stakeholders including public, businesses, schools, village departments, and underserved communities
• Review existing village plans and incorporate sustainable best practices
• Work with Sustainable Waunakee Ad-Hoc Committee as the primary working group
• Prepare user-friendly final report with graphics and concise planning document
• Present final plan to Sustainable Waunakee Ad-Hoc Committee and Village Board
• Provide electronic copies of final plan in original and PDF formats with all graphics and GIS files
• Develop plan to measure annual performance towards sustainability targets
