• Licensed for public practice as a certified public accountant
• Meet independence requirements of Government Auditing Standards
• Staff meet continuing education requirements of Government Auditing Standards
• No record of substandard audit work

• Conduct financial audit in accordance with GAAP and Government Auditing Standards
• Evaluate internal controls over financial reporting
• Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and grant agreements
• Prepare required audit reports including those for Government Auditing Standards
• Provide recommendations for corrective actions in management letter
• Complete audit work and provide draft report by January 31st
• Deliver final audit report by February 15th
• Assist in pursuing Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting
• Perform Single Audit if required
• Present oral presentation of proposal if requested
