Buyer seeks an independent audit of all city accounts for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023. The audit must be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards. The selected firm will audit general purpose financial statements, federal awards expenditures, and fund financial statements. The engagement includes options for four additional years of audits.

• 12/31/2023 - Final Draft and Issuance
• 7/26/2024 - Proposal Due Date

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant or firm of such accountants
• No financial interest, direct or indirect, in city government or its officers
• Meet peer review, continuing education, and independence standards of Government Auditing Standards Board

• Audit general purpose financial statements for year ending December 31, 2023
• Audit schedule of expenditures of federal awards including American Rescue funds
• Audit combining and individual fund and account group financial statements
• Provide opinion on financial statements in accordance with Government Auditing Standards
• Perform audit planning and final field work
• Prepare draft and final audit reports
• Review Police, Firemen, Officers' and Employees' Pension Plans analysis
• Comply with nondiscrimination clauses and provisions
• Maintain professional liability insurance of at least $250,000
• Meet peer review, continuing education, and independence standards of Government Auditing Standards Board
