Caregiver Respite Care Provider Services
Navajo Nation Division of Aging and Long-Term Care Support
The buyer seeks proposals from qualified, certified vendors to provide Caregiver Respite Care Provider services. Services will cover an estimated 81 Senior Centers across five agencies in Arizona and New Mexico. The buyer aims to assist family members caring for elder consumers at home, provide appropriate care and supervision, relieve family members from constant caregiving responsibilities, and attend to consumers' basic needs. The respite care services will not exceed 40 hours per family per month enrolled with the buyer.

- 12/18/2024 - Pre-proposal meeting
- 12/20/2024 - Advertisement closing date
- 1/3/2025 - Opening of Proposal and Evaluation
- 1/3/2025 - Award date for contract
- Home Care Licensed, bonded, and current Certificate of Liability Insurance
- Experience working with Navajo Nation Government or other government entities
- Provide respite care services for eligible informal family caregivers
- Offer trained, certified, and mentally stable respite care providers
- Ensure respite care providers have cleared background checks
- Enable temporary relief for family caregivers of Navajo Senior Center Elders
- Provide respite care to eligible Grandparents raising Grandchildren
- Submit monthly service reports using DALTCS Family Caregiver Support Log
- Include family caregivers in respite caregiver training
- Cap travel mileage for respite caregivers at 50 miles one-way
- Provide training on Caregiver Respite Program case management if needed
- Serve an estimated 81 Senior Centers across five agencies
