Buyer seeks to engage a well-qualified Public Accounting firm to provide Independent Auditor Services. The auditor will perform annual financial statement audits for fiscal years ending December 31, 2025, 2026, and 2027, with two one-year extension options. Services include auditing NJEDA, CBA, and potentially NJGB financial statements. Buyer requires the auditor to report directly to the Audit Committee and publicly attest to the fairness of financial statements.

• 6/11/2025 - Proposal Due Date
• 9/24/2025 - Estimated Contract Start

• Must be a well-qualified Public Accounting firm
• Must have demonstrated experience providing Independent Auditor Services to public entities in NJ
• Must comply with Executive Orders 122 and 37
• Must submit most recent peer review with proposal

• Perform annual financial statement audit in compliance with GAGAS and GASB standards
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls
• Issue management letters with recommendations for improving control systems
• Complete interim fieldwork by mid-December each fiscal year
• Complete final fieldwork by first Friday of February
• Issue auditor's opinion by mid-March
• Complete tax returns for CBA by April 1st
• Meet privately with Audit Committee at least twice annually
• Publicly attest to fairness of financial statements
• Submit internal quality control procedures and peer review reports
