Buyer seeks qualified auditors to perform complete financial and compliance audits for both the City of Franklin and the Conference Center at Cool Springs. The audit will examine financial statements of governmental activities, business-type activities, and all funds for three fiscal years (2025-2027). Buyer requires fieldwork to be completed by October with audit presentations to the Budget & Finance Committee by November/December. The contract includes assistance with GASB implementation and financial reporting requirements.

• Perform complete financial and compliance audit of the City
• Conduct audit of the Conference Center at Cool Springs
• Examine financial statements of governmental and business-type activities
• Prepare audit in accordance with State of Tennessee requirements
• Identify and communicate compliance and internal control findings
• Conduct preliminary audit procedures before fiscal year end
• Perform three weeks of fieldwork between September and October
• Present audit results to Budget & Finance Committee
• Assist with GASB implementation and financial reporting requirements
• Prepare analysis for Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting
