Guilford Technical Community College

Buyer seeks proposals for financial audit services and Yellow Book compliance audit for the College, and financial audit and tax services for its related entities for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. The contract will have an initial term of one year with options to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. Buyer is one of NC's largest community colleges serving approximately 30,000 community residents annually. Firms may submit proposals for just the college, just the related entities, or both.

• CPA firm licensed to perform audits in NC
• Experience with auditing services for higher education entities
• Experience with tax services for non-profit entities
• Financial stability to perform contract obligations

• Conduct financial audit for GTCC in accordance with GAAP and GASB standards
• Perform Yellow Book compliance audit for State Capital Infrastructure Fund grants
• Audit related entities' financial statements according to FASB standards
• Prepare tax filings for GTCC Foundation (Form 990)
• Prepare tax filings for GIRC (Form 990) and GC3 (Form 1120)
• Complete audit with opinion issued by December 15
• Complete related entities' audits before college audit fieldwork begins
• Attend exit conferences to present audit results
• Provide electronic and hard copies of audit reports
• Itemize audit hours and costs in final reports
