The buyer seeks a Municipal Budget Consultant to review and analyze the Calendar Year 2025 Municipal Budget. The consultant will work closely with the City Council, attending meetings and providing guidance. The contract is for one year, starting January 1, 2025. The consultant must have extensive experience with New Jersey municipal budgets and relevant certifications.

- 5 years experience with New Jersey Calendar Year Municipal Budget
- Knowledge of New Jersey Budget Laws and Regulations
- Registered Municipal Accountant in New Jersey or Certified Municipal Financial Officer
- 5 years experience in development, evaluation, analysis of budgetary control systems
- Review and analyze Calendar Year 2025 Municipal Budget
- Meet with City Council members
- Attend City Council budget hearing meetings
- Meet with Administration as necessary
- Attend City Council meetings where formal budget action is scheduled
- Provide relevant reports as requested by City Council majority
