The contractor will develop and coordinate prevention services, prepare budgets and reports, and attend required meetings. The program requires at least 20 hours per week of prevention efforts and in-person facilitated initiatives. The contractor must adhere to MDH requirements and implement SAMHSA's Strategic Prevention Framework.

• Be a community-based organization located in Howard County
• Engaged in substance misuse prevention services for at least 3 years

• Develop and coordinate substance use prevention services
• Prepare yearly budget and grant proposal
• Attend meetings designated by County or MDH
• Coordinate community-based coalitions and committees
• Prepare and submit required reports
• Provide at least 20 hours per week of prevention efforts
• Facilitate in-person prevention initiatives
• Adhere to MDH Human Services Agreement Manual requirements
• Promote DEA campaigns and SAMHSA Health Observances
• Implement SAMHSA's Strategic Prevention Framework
