The buyer seeks an independent audit firm to provide auditing services for the City of Crestwood. The selected firm will conduct annual audits, prepare financial reports, and provide ongoing consultation. The contract will be for one year with up to four additional one-year renewal options. The audit must comply with generally accepted auditing standards and Government Auditing Standards.

• 9/10/2024 - Board Approval/Notice to Proceed

• Licensed to practice as Certified Public Accountants in Missouri
• Experience in governmental audits
• Ability to complete audit in timely manner

• Conduct independent audit of city financial statements
• Prepare Independent Auditors' Report
• Provide financial statements, notes, and supplemental information
• Conduct OMB Circular A-133 audit when necessary
• Prepare Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards
• Report on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting
• Report on Compliance with Governmental Auditing Standards
• Provide Management Letter with findings and recommendations
• Offer ongoing professional consultation to city
• Engage actuary for OPEB calculation
