FY24 DISB Capital Readiness Program Curriculum and Program Design

The buyer seeks a locally focused nonprofit organization to develop curriculum and design a program aimed at providing DC-based small businesses training and advisory services to obtain access to capital. The program will cover business planning, marketing, contracting, financial reporting, credit education, and business management. The contractor will develop the curriculum, program design, operating procedures, and implementation strategy for launch in fiscal year 2024.

- Be a community development-focused organization addressing needs of low and moderate-income DC residents and businesses
- Demonstrate experience deploying technical assistance programs for small businesses
- Have partnerships with higher education institutions providing business management and finance courses
- Serve as a resource for small businesses needing grants, loans, and investments
- Develop curriculum for business management, sales, procurement, and financial education
- Design program model incorporating value proposition and applicant selection
- Develop operating procedures and program manual
- Create implementation strategy for program launch in fiscal year 2024
- Facilitate partnerships with higher education institutions and funding partners
