Buyer seeks Career Connect Washington Sector Leaders for high-priority industries. Sector Leaders will work with employers to develop and implement industry sector strategies that build and scale career connected learning programs. Buyer aims to increase employer participation in career connected learning and grow student participation, particularly for underserved populations. Sector Leaders will serve as key strategic partners and support employer engagement on federal grant applications.

• Ability to leverage employer connections to conduct Sector Intermediary activities
• Ability to work across all educational sectors
• Ability to work across all geographic regions of Washington state
• Ability to work with labor organizations
• Ability to work within CCW system

• Develop and advance strategies to grow career connected learning
• Increase employer participation in career connected learning programs
• Facilitate partnerships to address shared workforce needs
• Regularly convene industry stakeholders to update sector strategy
• Advise CCW and State leaders on policy, strategy, and funding priorities
• Support or manage coalitions of employers and stakeholders
• Contribute to shared resources, tools, and collateral for CCW initiatives
• Provide technical expertise on statewide frameworks and initiatives
• Catalog employer needs and map against current programs
• Work with Program Builders to develop new programs to fill gaps
